A LEADING VOICE FOR VOLUNTEERING

We organize training sessions for new members and across high schools in Nigeria to advance volunteering as a fundamental building block of civil society. We align with the “Universal Declaration of Volunteering” to support the right of every woman, man and child to associate freely and to volunteer regardless of their cultural and ethnic origin, religion, age, gender, and physical, social or economic condition. 

At RYN, we are a leading voice in positioning volunteers as vital to achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals 3 and 8.

OUR ADVOCACY AGENDA

  • Promoting and creating awareness of the understanding and acceptance of volunteering as a strategic tool for the achievement of Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals, working in partnership with the United Nations.
  • Working with host organizations and partners to promote the message of volunteering and its value across Nigeria and the African continent.
  • Building understanding by governments, businesses and international agencies of the critical role of national leadership organizations for volunteering in developing a high impact volunteer practice.
